In her role as a stay-at-home mom, Mary Catherine would take her son to all the brand-new construction neighborhoods in Charleston, SC, where they would walk together to pass the time and burn off his energy. As she gained more knowledge about houses, her already profound love of houses grew even stronger. Observing, questioning, researching, and comparing all the different products from different companies (whether it was homes, builders, or salespeople), she was able to gain a deep understanding of real estate and the market. In her role as a stay-at-home mom, Mary Catherine acquired a keen understanding of how trends and market changes interrelate, which prepared her to serve as a leader in a highly competitive industry.
